Upward Basketball

Specifically designed for 1st through 6th grade boys and girls, Upward Basketball seeks to develop the self-esteem of each participant, while teaching respect for authority, sportsmanship, character, and basketball skills. Upward Basketball provides:

• Equal playing time for every player
• Separate leagues for boys and girls
• A one-hour practice and game each week of the season
• An evaluation process to provide equal opportunity for improvement

Every player will receive:

• Upward Basketball reversible mesh jersey
• Upward Basketball t-shirt
• Upward Basketball Winner Magazine
• Upward Basketball car magnet
• Upward music CD
• Individual awards after each practice and game
• End of the season award

The Upward Basketball program runs for 8 weeks, during January and February of each year.
